New York Bagel Cafe & Deli to open in Rohrerstown by the end of May
NYBagel Cafe & Deli, a New York-based chain, expects to open a location in Rohrerstown by the end of May.
The restaurant at 805A Rohrerstown Road will feature 20 types of bagels that can be topped with lox as well as a variety of cream cheeses. There also will be about two dozen sandwiches, including some breakfast sandwiches, in addition to wraps and salads.
The restaurant, which will have seating for 30, takes a space next to Green Mountain Cyclery previously occupied by Jovi’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant.
The franchisees for the bagel cafe are Marcel Centeno and John Altreche, who are both first-time restaurant owners.
Begun in upstate New York in 1994, NY Bagel Cafe now has about a dozen locations, mostly in mid-Atlantic states.
